A word about bronze:  Bronze is one of the most ancient metals, dating back to the third millennium BC.  Bronze has unique properties.  The natural finish bronze has been treated with a light wax which will protect the surface.  The bronze will age naturally over time, growing richer and deeper in color. The patina bronze has been purposely aged and also been given a light wax finish.
